Teachers are bound to make their students learn. They are put in the classroom to guide the kids learn what to learn and how to learn. Therefore it is very necessary to engage the students in every discussion to enhance their talents and at the same time awaken the talents that are hidden in their minds. But sometimes mastering and knowing the techniques and strategies in making the students active in school is not enough due to many temptations in the market that get their interests. 1. Engage Them In Classroom Activities

Kids are hyper, inquisitive and playful. When the class starts after five minutes they will become restless. They will play and talk to his/her seatmate until to the point that you will totally screw yourself. So you must engage them in different activities to encourage them to participate in class. Aside from getting angry making an activity that will engage them will somehow lessen their restlessness. Doing things inside the classroom such as educational play, kids experiment, and other manipulative activities will not bore their learning instead they will be motivated to learn. Providing activities that needs their participation will make the classroom process interactive. Thus, each student will participate and present their ideas.

 

2. Assign Task For Each Student

Kids always want to have the attention of their teachers. They feel happy when their teacher called their names and assigned tasks to them. So if you are the teacher don’t be afraid to give them responsibility in school because this will mold them into a better person. Giving task like cleaning the classroom will develop their duty at the same time they will practice cleanliness. Another is that collecting classroom fees. To other kids this is a great experience because they able to collect the money of the class. This kind of experience will make them feel trustworthy and when they feel it that way they will strive to make a good kid. They will participate and share their ideas on how to keep the money in safe.

 

3. Motivate The Student To Learn How To Learn

In the school it is not necessarily that you will spoon feed the kids. You are in school to teach them how to learn that is why you are bond to give questions not answers. Give a situation to solve will be an exciting task for them. With the ideas in their mind will easily solve their problems. Just guide them and provide tips but the rest let them do the work.

 

4. Encourage Playing And Exercise

As kids play, it makes them happy and alive. In school do not just instill in their mind that learning is in the book only. Try to show them the reality and let them understand that learning can be experienced and perceived. They must try other perspective of learning which is playing. Kids are easily bored in the classroom. They feel restless that they tend not to listen to the teachers discussion. So, to prevent this from happening, create a game that they will enjoy. Some people say playing is not good to the kids because they will not have focus in their studies this idea is somewhat wrong. Allowing the kids to play once in a while will develop their motor skills and thinking skills. Thus, they will stay active and energetic. When it comes to focusing to the lesson it is the work of the teacher on how he or she will guide and discuss the meaning of playing.

Set House Rules

Being healthy is not only limited in the food your children eat but also how you discipline them by setting house rules. Setting house rules will keep your children away from danger and from accidents. You also need to give them a curfew to prevent them from staying late outside your home. Your home is the safest place that they could be. This will also teach them the value of being responsible and good people.

 

Be A Good Role Model

Children are great in mimicking since they are still trying to find their own identity and they still need guidance. Thus, whatever they see in adults is what they will also do. Since we as adults, especially the parents, always remind them that we have experienced more than what they have and we know more than they do then it is only fair we show they that we can do good things and that we only do good. There are so many recipes online that you can check that are specially made for children and guaranteed that your children will love and enjoy it.

Physical Exercise: One of the most effective ways to prevent obesity problem is exercise. Yes this is a very common way but not everyone is doing this that’s why obesity problem is still on the lists. There are so many ways to be involved in physical exercise since there are also so many ways to do physical exercises. You could either enroll your kid’s into sports (base ball, basket ball, soccer, football, tennis, etc), martial arts (taek won do, karate, MMA, etc), swimming, and so on.

Diet Program: if your child is getting obese you need to start controlling their diet by having a diet program suggested by your nutritionist or fitness experts.
